HERE ARE A FEW WAYS TO DONATE TO OUR VETERANS!
Your Donation
Your donation allows VITT to procure additional equipment, student textbooks, lease training facility, and handle operational expenses. Most importantly, your donation will enable VITT to provide certified instructors to facilitate its 160-hour course comprised of theory and hands-on application training in computer networking for Service members transitioning through the Wounded Warrior treatment facilities, disabled Veterans, Veterans and their dependents.
Your donation allows the delivery of more classes and courses during the day for those veterans and dependents that are unemployed and in the evening for those that are under the care of the wounded warrior treatment units. VITT currently conducts classes two nights a week and Saturday mornings at the USO, Fort Belvoir Virginia. VITT’s current class enrollment consists of 17 service members, many who are a part of the wounded warrior program. The program received 52 statements of interest to participate in the training; however, the organization is presently equipped to facilitate training to 17 students.
VITT’s program is no cost to both veterans and their dependents. For profit training and educational institutes, to include universities offer similar training for a one-week boot camp, 18-week certification program, and 24-week associates degree costs on average $6,900, $18,000 and $36,000 respectively.
